Rules, Regulations and Waiver

There are three basic categories of materials that Pete & Pete dispose of. These categories are as follows:

• Construction/Demolition debris is defined as those materials resulting from the alteration, construction, destruction, rehabilitation, or repair of any manmade physical structure. These materials include lumber, drywall, brick, concrete (4" or smaller), metals, plaster, windows, roofing materials, plumbing fixtures, electrical wiring, asphalt, insulation and carpeting. This does not include regular household waste, hazardous waste and asbestos.
• Household Garbage includes, but is not limited to, books, papers, furniture, clothes, food or food wrappers, pop cans, bottles, appliances, lamps, etc.
• Organic Material includes leaves, brush, tree stumps (12" in diameter or smaller), tree branches, and wood chips. We will accept tree stumps over 12" in diameter, but specialized pricing would apply. Sod is not considered organic and cannot be mixed in with other organic material.

Materials such as tires, paint cans, asbestos, household cleaners, oil, batteries, gasoline or any other hazardous materials cannot be put into our dumpsters under any circumstances.

Rules

1. Pete and Pete Container Service, Inc. cannot accept material such as, but not limited to; solvents, tires, oils, batteries, gasoline, refrigeration & air conditioning units, asbestos, railroad ties, and any other material deemed hazardous.
2. Any damage to pavement, driving surfaces or other property resulting from the weight of the truck or placement of the container is not the responsibility of Pete and Pete Container Service.
3. If containers are heaped over the rim of the container, we reserve the right to either remove excess material on site or reject hauling the container. We cannot safely transport an overloaded container. All containers should be loaded water level, with the exception of dirt and concrete loads which need to be no higher than one foot from the top of the container.
4. Damage done to containers or container components while on your property is the responsibility of the customer. Fees to repair the container are the responsibility of the individual with whom the container was rented.
5. Pete and Pete Container Service requires someone to be onsite at the time of the container delivery, especially if the delivery is at a residence. However, if that is not possible, a waiver must be signed in order for the container to be delivered (see link this page).
6. Once placed, the container cannot be moved even if the customer has means of moving the container (i.e. tow motor, excavator etc.). This can not only damage the container, it may have been moved in a location which prevents access and removal by our trucks.
7. If an order is placed for removal of a container, it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the area in front of and around the container is clear and free of other vehicles and debris, so that removal is possible.
8. Once the container is placed, and our driver leaves the jobsite, there is a fee for relocating the container. Be sure to have the location predetermined to avoid any confusion.
9. Some materials classified as construction debris cannot be mixed with general trash. Be clear with the Pete and Pete representative when placing the order what materials you plan on disposing of.
10. Pete and Pete delivery drivers reserve the right to decline placement of container if it is deemed unsafe.

Waiver

Pete & Pete drivers take every precaution when delivering our containers. However, our trucks are very large and loaded containers add to their weight. In addition to that, the thickness and quality of your driveway and sidewalks can either increase or decrease their vulnerability to damage. Any damage to pavement, driving surfaces, or additional delivery areas resulting from the weight of the truck or placement of container are not the responsibility of Pete & Pete. You will be required to sign a waiver detailing this information prior to placement of the container on your property.
